Pursue Industrial Growth and Public Acceptance of Hydrogen as a Renewable Energy Carrier and to Encourage, Promote Stimulate and Support the Commercialization of Renewable Resource-Based Hydrogen Products and Services in Maine's Economy.

Lead the organization

Conceive, plan, analyze and design business ventures that advance the technology and adoption of practical hydrogen energy systems and that create profitable business enterprises connected with the HEC.

Carry out the Hydrogen Energy Center's educational mission by providing information to members, the general public, students, and the engineering community about the benefits of using hydrogen as an energy carrier and the technical aspects of how to do it. The committee will accomplish this by maintaining and administering the Center's website, developing and maintaining relationships with educational institutions, and coordinating HEC's participation and leadership of public events such as workshops, talks, fairs, and conventions.

Manage memberships "Cultivate" the Board for maximal involvement, both financial and active. Initiate and manage fundraising activities. Write grant proposals. Oversee the financial life of the organization. Ensure fiscal responsibility. Solicit corporate sponsorships.
